Sony VAIO Netbook Finally Here?

It appears that Sony is going to release a new VAIO model which will "change the way you look at laptops forever" on the 9th of January. The teaser page is posted on Sony's New Zealand site.

As of now, most of the big laptop manufacturers have already released their own netbook, except for Sony and Apple. Many are guessing that Sony will be launching a netbook, which we think is highly possible.

Apple Netbook in Development?

Latest Apple's netbook rumor:

“That would seem to confirm findings that a search engine company shared with me on condition that I not reveal its name: The company spotted Web visits from an unannounced Apple product with a display somewhere between an iPhone and a MacBook. Is it the iPhone 3.0 or the NetMac 1.0?”

(From New York Times)

From the statement, Apple seems to be working on a new device with a display somehwere between an iPhone and a MacBook, and the new device which might be still in experimental phase is used to surf the web.
