HP has officially announced the new 1000 Mini netbook.
Different from Mini-Note 2133 which use the VIA processor, the HP 1000 Mini netbook will be running on Intel’s 1.6GHz Atom N270 processor. Other features of the netbook includes: a choice of 8.9-inch 1024 x 600 or 10.2-inch 1024 x 600 BrightView displays, 512MB or 1GB of DDR2 RAM and either a 60GB 4,200rpm hard-drive or 8/16GB SSD.
The HP Mini 1000 is now available on HP’s online store for $399. It will comes with a pre-installed Windows XP Home OS, packs with Ethernet jack and two USB ports, has WiFi and Bluetooth wireless connectivity features plus a 3G connectivity coming soon. Also, HP will release a Vivienne Tam Edition of Mini 1000 with a starting price of $699 in December.
